Ring Strength Category
Rings can be categorized into a few generalized
strength categories. These rating are a general indication of
the purpose of the ring. These general rating are created based on the ratio of ID to guage (aspect ratio). The fatter the ring the stronger it is. For smaller rings - although their aspect ratio may be the same as a larger ring - they are considered jewelry size.
All comments are in reference to European 4 in 1 !
Super Armor Strength - can be used for combat like SCA. It will be dense and quite heavy.
Armor Strength - can be used for combat like SCA and LARP
Costume Grade - great for a shirt that is to wear around at a ren fair. Can also be used for lighter LARP gear.
Decorative Use - excellent to hang on the wall or wear around a ren fair.
Jewelry Use - tight or loose the ring is small enough to be considered used typically only in jewelry.
